Pass on Written Information To Your Callers

WebRTC calls include a chat feature that helps you pass along links or other written information to your customers. The chat feature is disabled by default. You first need to initiate chat before it becomes available to your customer.

Initiating WebRTC Chat

  1. Answer your incoming WebRTC call.
  2. Click the "Chat" button on the top right corner of your 3CXPhone app.
  3. A chat window will pop up where you can write to the other party. The chat feature will also be enabled for them at this time.
  4. Type your message in the text field and press "Enter" on your keyboard to send.
